This year has been the most fantastic year for wind and weather conditions here in St. Peter-Ording, Germany. The sun has been out nearly every day and record-breaking temperatures have embraced hundreds of fans, spectators, locals as well as vacationers from all around the world.
More than 114 competitors from 20 different nationalities competed in a total of 3 disciplines such as freestyle, race and board off. |

It was an early start for the double eliminations this morning. Riders made there way out on the water at approximately 9:00am under partly cloudy skies and moderate, gusty winds. The winds began to pick up throughout the day making it possibly the windiest day of the event. |

The wind began to pick up in strength early this morning making it possible to finish the freestyle single elimination discipline. The weather has not been cooperating 100% in the wind department, however sunny blue skies and record-breaking temperatures have been the setting throughout most of the competition. |

Today was much like the past couple of days here in St. Peter-Ording, Germany. The weather is absolutely fantastic! You could not ask for better conditions, the sun was out scorching the skin of hundreds of spectators, vacationers and locals out on the beach. Temperatures averaged 33 degrees Celsius, which is a record high for St. Peter-Ording and the wind averaged 15 knots most of the late morning and early afternoon. |

Today’s weather forecast was truly a gift, sunny blue skies and temperatures so hot you could fry an egg on the hood of any car. Hundreds of spectators were out and about on the beach in hopes of getting a glimpse of the professional rides that consumed the coastline. |
