The Notice of Race for the upcoming North American Course Racing Championships in Vallarta, Mexico, has been updated with the price money split.

The total price money is distributed to the top 20 competitors of the open fleet, and extra price money is available for the womens only fleet. This means that the top women can get cash twice, encouraging the top female riders in the world.

The World Rankings for Overall, Racing and Freestlye have been updated with the results from the KTA Vietnam event.

All riders are encouraged to send us their sponsor details and updates to complete them on the ranking lists.

The 2010 Judging Guidelines for Freestyle and Wave Riding are expected to be published on February 15, 2010, within the scope of the updated championship rules.

The Guidelines are the result of several months of in-depth negotiations of IKA's judging committee, consisting of representatives from the national associations as well as professional riders.

With the affiliation of the Puerto Rico Kiteboard Association as the latest addition to the IKA family, the famous Puerto Rico Heineken Regatta will also feature kite freestyle and course racing with the results counting towards the IKA world rankings.

Mui Ne has lived up to its reputation as one of Asia’s most consistent wind venues by giving round three of the KTA tour four days of competition. This saw the event beginning with both the men’s and women’s course racing on day one, with day two and three focusing on the freestyle events, plus the added bonus of the extremely popular Big Air contest, which left the final day open again for further course racing to finishing things as they were begun.
