How the World Rankings Work

The World Ranking System allows riders to qualify to compete at the highest level of the sport. Events are classified according to their standard and level before ranking points are allocated for that event. Only Association Members can seek ranking points for their national events in addition to world and continental level championships.

The process for determining how many points a particular event is allocated is dependent on the particular class. Please visit the class / discipline specific website for full information.

National Class Associations must submit events according to the process outlined here.
