December 1st to 7th saw the second successful KB4girls International Female Kite Week taking place across the globe
The International Female Kite Week included a whole host of events and activities from big down- winders, to coaching sessions such as the Lewis Crathern clinic in Mui Ne, parties, equipment raffles and social media competitions. Linking places as far afield as Maui, Israel, UK, Vietnam, Mexico and Morocco to name but a few.
Established by world champion kiteboarder Kristin Boese in December 2009, the KB4girls Foundation is a non-profit association driven by the passion to help others and unite females around the world through the sport of kiteboarding.
The KB4girls Chapter in Mexico kicked off International Female Kite Week in style with an had an mega downwinder, which organisers summed up
‘Beautiful faces, beautiful colors, beautiful everything! Doesn’t this make you want to celebrate International Female Kite Week too’
Many of you clearly did and had an awesome time doing so it seems, which can only bode well for it all to happen again in 2015 !
