The IKA has introduced a skill requirements system for events, closely connected to the new IKA recognized International Event Officer Programme. Events of a certain status need to fulfill the criteria for their event officer skill requirements, to raise the level of judging and race organisation and make world wide competition more comparable. Lean more on the following pages about which skills are needed for the various event levels (national, continental and world) and which qualifications are needed to become a recognized international event officer. The recognition progress is free of charge of course, and only depends on the personal abilities of the event officer in question. To apply for IKA recognized event officer status, please contact your national association or download the application form here.
