European Course Continentals Day 3

Written by Editor on . Posted in News

After six races completed yesterday, everybody hoped for a day off. But the afternoon brought another four races for the 100 competitors.

In around 14 knots of wind, Bruno Sroka dominated the field another time, closely followed by foilboarder Marc Blanc and Charles Deleau (all France).

The neverending battle beween foliboards and classic race boards saw only one victory today for Marc Blanc, who stated "I'm here mostly for fun and not for the competition. And I'm here also to compare the foil kite with a classic, I wanted to see if it works well and the results seen so far, it is not so bad.. "

No change on the womens fleet, Fabienne D'Ortoli (FRA) is still in the lead ahead of Steph Bridge (GBR) and Caroline Adrien (FRA).

12 races have been completed now, with one more day to go. It is very close at the top and the final decision for the european course racing championship could be postponed until the very last race.
