Registration open for 2010 Course Racing Worlds

The 2010 Course Racing World Championship will be held from April 21 till April 25, 2010, in Corpus Christi, Texas.

20000 USD price money is up for grabs, and registration is open from now on. Please find all the details here

North American Continentals kick off

Three races have been completed on day one of the 2010 North American Course Racing Continental Championships.

Adam Koch (USA) is leading ahead of Damien LeRoy and Johnny Heineken, both USA.

In the womens fleet, Melissa Gil (USA) is in front of Steph Bridge (GBR) and Sandy Parker (USA).

Racing is close in both fleets, and todays results with the first discard can already change everything.

First IKA Race Officers course successfully concluded

The International Kiteboarding Association has run its first international race officers course in Ghent, Belgium, at the end of February 2010.

It was attended by 28 candidates from 14 different countries ranging from Estonia to Brazil. The course was run over three days and headed up by ISAF International Race Officer and IKA board member Bruno de Wannemaeker and ISAF International Judge and Chairman of the ISAF Windsurfing and Kiteboarding Committee, Kamen Fillyov.

Plans are underway to continue this successful concept not only for race management but also for juries and judges.
