Slalom Worlds: Video and Wind conditions

The 2011 Slalom Worlds were held in pretty light conditions ranging from 6-9 knots. Still everybody was fully planning and looking spectacular, with board speeds around 15-20 knots.

Royal Invite for Kiteracing in Asia

Kiteboarding has been given a unique opportunity to take part in one of Asia’s oldest sailing regatta’s, the world renowned Phuket King’s Cup. The KTA and IKA have received an invitation from the Regatta to join the 25th anniversary year of the event so that it can include the world’s newest sailing sport into the competition.

Slalom World Championships Final Day

Sadly the wind failed to materialise for the final day of competition at the EUROSAF High Performance Grand Prix and 2011 Kite Slalom World Championships on the Murcia region of Spain’s Mar Menor, where an innovative new event has been taking place over the last four days with kiteboarders part of the competition alongside boats such as the A-Class and F18 catamarans, the foiling Moth and the 29erXX - the favourite to be chosen as the new Olympic women’s two person skiff for Rio 2016.
