KTE crowns 2011 European Champions

French local Sebastian Garat and Polish rider Asia Joanna Litwin are the winners of the final stop of the Kitesurf Tour Europe in St. Gilles Croix de Vie, Vendée, France and were crowned European Champions 2011. Seven days of spectacular competitions,varying wind conditions and beautiful waves at the beach of St. Gilles Croix de Vie came to a fabulous end today when the European Champions in Kiteboarding Freestyle as well as the winners of the Kitesurf Tour Europe in Course Racing were crowned.

KSP Peru Pacasmayo Pro wraps up

Today concludes the KSP’s Pacasmayo Peru Kite Surf Pro with the official awards ceremony taking place at 6 p.m. (PET) at El Faro Adventure Resort, Pacasmayo. Dominating this leg of the World Championships, the Brazilians earned three spots on the podium.

Slalom Worlds: Video and Wind conditions

The 2011 Slalom Worlds were held in pretty light conditions ranging from 6-9 knots. Still everybody was fully planning and looking spectacular, with board speeds around 15-20 knots.
