The inaugural Bosporus Race will kick off this years Formula Kite World Championships in Burc Beach, Istanbul, Turkey. The race will take place on the 17th of August from the event site (Burc Beach) to Istanbul City Center down the Bosporus. 5000 USD prize money are up for grabs, all equipment is allowed. The distance is about 40 km and the race is planned to take place every year to establish a course record.
