Sean Farley and Sandy Parker win the North American Course Continentals

Written by Editor on . Posted in News

An incredible event came to an end yesterday, seeing Sean Farley (MEX) and Sandy Parker (USA) on top after 20 races in winds averaging 30 knots.

Sean Farley seemed the man to beat at these first official North American Course Racing Championships, but the battle was full on for the places 2-5 between Damien Leroy, Jesse Richman, Sky Solbach and Chip Wasson.

After six races completed yesterday, everybody hoped for a day off. But the afternoon brought another four races for the 100 competitors.

In around 14 knots of wind, Bruno Sroka dominated the field another time, closely followed by foilboarder Marc Blanc and Charles Deleau (all France).

North American Course Continentals Day 3 Update

Written by Editor on . Posted in News

Another day of great racing and even more wind. The committee boat reported gusts over 40 mph and wind averages from 30 to 35 mph. Kite sizes were from 6 meters to 9 meters with five races completed. Sean Farley continues to dominate the field but did slow down just a little in the last races, taking out a 6 meter kite and protecting his 20 point lead over Damien Leroy who finished strong today-- winner of the last two races.
