Puerto Rico to host the Caribbean Course Racing Championships

The Caribbean Course Racing Championship will be held July 9-11, 2010 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, 10000 US $ is up for grabs for an open class fleet.

There will be also a "weekend warriors" class to bring new faces to this thrilling discipline. For Puerto Rico and the organizers of this event it will be also a testdrive for future major events in North America.

PKRA tests new discipline at the Fuerteventura Grand Slam

The 2010 PKRA Fuerteventura Kiteboarding Super Grand Slam will be without a doubt a memorable event.

This year Fuerteventura will be celebrating 25 years of hosting World Cup events, which dates back to 1986 with the PBA Windsurfing World Cup.

In addition to the Speed, Freestyle and Race disciplines being held in Fuerteventura, the Professional Kiteboard Riders Association will be testing a new high-tech discipline called the Sky-Masters.

Tenerife Island all set to host a PKRA 2010 World Cup Event

For the first time in the history of the PKRA there will be two World Cup events in the Canary Islands. Starting with the world famous and oldest PKRA event, the Fuerteventura Kiteboarding PKRA Super Grand Slam (Aug 3-7), who is celebrating its 25 year of World Cup competitions. Immediately following Fuerteventura, the island of Tenerife will host the brand new Tenerife kiteboarding World Cup (Aug 10 -15). Tenerife will have the much anticipate wave riding world cup discipline as well as a freestyle qualifier event.
