Rondina, Collaud, Jensen and Roose win first leg of the European Tour

Podersdorf saw a great kickoff event of the European Kite Tour, with a full single elimination and plenty of races. Alberto Rondina (ITA, Cabrinha) and Celine Collaud (SUI, JN) in the freestyle fleet and Bjorn Rune Jensen (DEN, Cabrinha) and Katja Roose (NED, Airush) were on top of the rankings in the end.

2010 IKA Course Racing Worlds Roundup

Organizers and competitors gathered at McGee Beach in Corpus Christi, TX, for the final day of the 2010 IKA World Kite Racing Championship not knowing what to expect.

With a sketchy forecast that could go either way, organizers waited for the wind to settle so they could set a race course while competitors had a mixed bag of emotions — those on top would hold their top placements if the weather did not cooperate while others were chomping at the bit to race in hopes of advancing their positions.

Koch and Schibevaag crowned 2010 Course Racing World Champions

The wind did not cooperate on the final day of the 2010 Course Racing Worlds in Corpus Christi, Texas, and so the standings after day two and 10 races are final.

2010 World Course Racing Champions are Adam Koch (USA, Ozone) and Kari Schibevaag (NOR, Ozone).
