Kari Schibevaag News:Vake

Written by Kari Schibevaag on . Posted in Riders News

I have now been to Vake in Finnmark , World Championship in Long Distance Snowkiting. I was teamed with Elisabeth Borgersen from Norway Oslo .

This was the first time I tried this and it was a lot of stuff to fix before we could start.

Thanks to Elisabeth we got ready and was racing.

The first day was hard. We got some wind but was also walking a lot. To walk with all this gear is hard and I think we had way to much with us.

We got to Stjernevann on the 2nd day as the girl team and we as a bit surprised about this after all this walking. The wind dropped when we went from here and after a while we decided to go back. We found out that it would be hard to get to next check point in time.

nest trip less stuff :)

Nice days, nice place and super a super trip :) Thanks Elisabeth
