Round 2 Of The European Kitesurfing Championships

From Scotland to England, France, Belgium, Holland then onto Germany right up to the North we arrived at the island of Sylt. Myself and KTE judge Ali Barrett went in Race Director Mark Wards car and by gosh he can drive fast! We completed the trip in under 24 hours and that includes a 2 hour ferry ride!

Arriving in Sylt the weather was scorching! Sunny and still. Not great news about the wind :/ All the competitors registered and we carried out n opening ceremony. Myself, Hannah Whiteley and George Dufty flew the British Flag :)

Unfortunately for the 3 days of competition there was just not enough wind to run the freestyle event. So sorry I do not have much to update you on! All of the racing was completed and those guys had a blast. Congrats to the winners.

Thank you to all the sponsors that made the event possible. We hope to come back next time and get some more wind.

Now I am off to Rhodes, Greece to deliver a Girls Camp.

Have fun on the water where ever you are.

Peace and Love.

Holly xoxo
