Ozone News:Alex Danielle - Island Life VIDEO

Written by Ozone on . Posted in Industry News

I’ve had a mixture of kite and SUP sessions at Rarotonga in the last month, with a little trip to Tonga in between for the 2015 Axis shoot.. Which was amazing.

The last few days before Alex left for the UK, we kited in a different location on Raro. We were still at Muri beach but as the wind was a little more cross shore, we went further down. It meant more coral bomby’s and a not much space but it was really good. Riding on the 12m Catalyst, but really needing my 9m meant BIG boosting session.

Tonga was really cool, we stayed on Ha’apai which is a bit different to Rarotonga, with more water and flat land, it was the perfect spot for kitesurfing. We had 1 day of borrowing kit as some of ours got held up on the plane, I got to ride a 13m Edge, which was great. Also had a great session on my 12m and and lighter wind day where I got to ride the 15m Ozone Chrono. It was a pretty spectacular experience!

Now back at home, second day in with 20knots, blue skies, sunshine and the whole lagoon to myself. Bliss.

With a forecast of 25-30+knots for the next few days, I’m excited!

Danielle
