ASV News:Kite/Hydrofoil wins the FOILING WEEK

Written by ASV on . Posted in Industry News

A great event toke place in Lake Garda early this week. The FOILING WEEK brought some of the best racers and foil projects in the world to Malcesine to share and compete. From the simple kite/hydrofoils, through the Moth to the expensive GC32 foiling cats.
On wednesday the Moth invitational came down to be a tight battle between three of the best Moth racers in the world:

1.Rob Gough 2.Josh McKnight 3.Ben Paton

On Thursday the ora wind came up early and all the best boats got on the line for the highly anticipated MIXED FLEET long distance race  to show the fastest foiling boat. A big triangle course was set and racers had to go around for 45 minutes. Simone and his hydrofoil covered about 29km in 45 minutes  and toke 1st place showing once again the incredible performances of our small "human mounted" hydrofoils powered by a kite.
