Ozone News:Alex Danielle - Hitting it in Rarotonga

Written by Ozone on . Posted in Industry News

So we have had a month of light wind and no riding, but then a weekend appeared on the forecast, (20-25knots) it was a long way off but at this point we were desperate so we booked the Saturday off, we were not missing this…

Coming up to the Saturday, the forecast didn’t change. Friday night we got the cameras ready then Saturday morning we were at the beach early to make the most of the sun and wind.

Although it was only 18knots Danielle and I were nicely powered on the 12m Catalyst. A few hours went by, pretty exhausted we took a break for lunch. By the time we had gotten back, the wind was up along with the rain. We stopped the filming and I got the 10m Catalyst out for a free ride with everyone else as they had just gotten down to the beach.
