Ozone News:Damien Chaboud - Edge and Chrono review

Written by Ozone on . Posted in Industry News

First of all, I just want to tell you thanks a lot for supporting me with your good condition on Ozone kites.

Second thing I would like to tell you that your Ozone Edge, 6/8/10 are really fabulous. I had just received the kite 1 day before the kite race. The race was for my self the first test. The Edge is incredibly nice with the foil board; speed, upwind and very good bar feeling really perfect for the foil. Construction and finishing is really nice, a big pleasure for me to ride with these kites.

Now concerning the Chrono 12m, I don’t have the words to describe how this kite is so amazing, I never felt this with my kitefoil in the past. Before receiving I was afraid the 12 will be too small for the light wind with my kitefoil comparing to my old 14 F-one, but in fact not at all if you know how to ride the foil kite the low end is compared to a 15/16sqm but with all the advantage of relaunching and power during kite come up. Concerning the high end it seems excellent, I couldn’t ride my inflatable 14m at this high end.

Now concerning the upwind, nothing exists on earth like this it is incomparable! The speed is excellent also in full down wind.

I love my Chrono 12m. I hope one day Ozone will make a smaller one like 10 or 8.

Thanks a lot for all. Here are some photos of the IKT Internationnal Kitefoil Tour in La Ciotat. Alpinefoil finished second place with the Ozone Edge and Chrono kites.

All the Best
Damien
