Ozone News:Paulino Pereira joins Team Ozone

Written by Ozone on . Posted in Industry News

Hi Everyone,

Hope that all of you are having some good sessions out there.

I am so stoked to be part of Ozone team. Riding the Catalyst is just perfect, it just fills all my needs. Already I’ve had the chance to ride with them on Waves and on Flat water for Freestyle.

I felt like I already knew the kite. On freestyle landed some tricks that I was crashing lately, like the frontmobe pass… landed on the first try!! My god… was screaming all over haha.

The wave session was likely the same, with short lines and the 8m Catalyst did some insane aerials toeside 360º with side on conditions. The depower helps a lot on the strapless airs, with it, you can control the jump and have the board controlled and “glued” to your feet. After these experiences I am super motivated for the upcoming sessions and events.

I am just heading out to Madeira Island (Portugal), it’s where I was born and where I’ve learned how to kitesurf. All the rocky beaches make it hard to get in and out. But now I am going back there with my Catalysts and try to surf the perfect right waves that the island has to offer. They call the Hawai of Europe for surfing, I think is more than that…

Looking forward to giving you all some nice feedback

Cheers
Paulino Pereira
