RRD News:Abel Lago news from Indonesia

Written by RRD on . Posted in Industry News

Hola amigos.

My trip around Indo is going good, I been two weeks surfing around the island of Bali, I was lucky to surf spots like Impossibles, Pandang Pandang, airports left and more. I also was able to kite two days in Ganguu, but the conditions in Bali for kite are very poor, light wind for 12m and close out waves.
Now I am in Sumbawa, in the famous spot of Lakey Peak, surfing every morning in Lakey Pipe and train to kite, but the wind is also light here and I am riding every afternoon under power on my 12m.
The last two days we had a really big swell, but too big for surfing and not wind enough for kite. Today I try to kite but there were really big and powerfull waves and only 11 knots.
Hoping the wind is back in the next week I will keep surfing every morning and getting better in my style and my “Cojones” on the tubes!

Saludos from Indonesia.
Abel
