Airush News:The Answer to your Lightwinds

Written by Airush on . Posted in Industry News

Riding in under 12 knots?  NO PROBLEM says Airush and have the range to prove it.   The Airush Lithium Zero 18m, Sector V4 and Slayer have been tested and reviewed and we would like to share with you some of the eye candy that is out in store right now!

Kiteworld has always loved using the Sector since the first prototype they tried in 2009.  But for this year we decided to go a bit further with the lightwind range to accompany the Sector V4.  The Slayer takes the stage as a stand alone kite ideal for riding strapless in super light winds.

“– it’s a very tasty little cake with lots of nice ingredients. And we want one.”  Kiteworld Magazine – Slayer Test

The Lithium Zero has been increasingly popular during this season, leaving it almost a sought after product searching high and low to get one! With the focus of simplicity and user-friendliness in a lightwind package, Airush left the Lithium name nice and close to the Zero to let everyone know how easy it is to ride.  The impressive power of the Lithium Zero will never make you feel like you undercooked on those lightwind days, Kiteworld comments about this specifically:

“And we don’t just mean moving slowly; you’re moving quickly and making rapid progress upwind. In over eight knots it’s time to put the Zero away if you’re using it with the big Sector. You’re done. Literally. You can get away with a bit more on a twintip, but in 4 – 7 knots on a surfboard and trying some strapless tricks you’re literally living the dream with the kite just sitting there in complete obedience.” Kiteworld Magazine – Lithium Zero Test

The Lithium Zero has become such an easy and enjoyable piece of equipment to ride that even everyday twintip riders are using it when there is nothing else. Airush Deutschland Team Rider, Mads Wollesen, takes the Lithium Zero out of its Freeride comfort zone to try load and pop tricks in 5 knots!!
