Flysurfer News:The journey is the reward – Gunnar is going his own way

Written by Flysurfer on . Posted in Industry News

After 4 years of dedicated service as a teamrider, teamrider manager and one of the main spokespersons for the brand, Gunnar “Chinatown” Biniasch has decided to dedicate more time towards his new role as father.

Gunnar: “It was a hard choice to leave Flysurfer Kiteboarding. It has been a really big part of my life for the last 4 years. There are just a few brands that capture the imagination and sense of family in kiting as well as Flysurfer does, and that makes it very difficult to leave.”

Ernst – as Gunnar’s leader: “I learned a lot from him since I came to the brand – theoretically and practically. Together we were able to form a very good team structure as well as an effective internal communication process between the team riders and company. I respect his decision, but to be honest I am a bit sad as well – for me it was a pleasure to work with Gunnar and I hope that our paths will cross again in the future!”

At this point we would like to say “THANK YOU Gunnar and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors!”
