Denmark joins IKA

Written by Editor on . Posted in News

KBDKDenmark joins IKA through Kiteboarding Denmark (KBDK), which is the national association for Danish kite surfers.

It is KBDK desire to support the IKA and give Denmark and Danish kitsurfers the opportunities that membership of the IKA provides. KBDK hope that it bee not long before the Danish events are to find the IKA event list.

KBDK has worked hard to establish a national kitesurf instructor training program together with the Danish sailing union in 2011. This is successful and the first courses will be held in spring and summer of 2012.

Another area which KBDK work a lot with is to secure continued access to kitesurf spots around the Denmark, and this is done in collaboration and dialogue with the various conservation authorities and associations.
