This weekend the finals of the German nationals will be hold in Büsum. Can European Champion in Freestyle Mario Rodwald win his 8th season in a row?
Since 7 years, Mario Rodwald, is constantly the German Champion in Freestyle. This weekend the fourth and final stop of the Kitesurf-Trophy will decide about his next success. His biggest competitor is KTE Rider Stefan Permien who is currently 5th in the KTE Ranking. Both guys are from the north of Germany and used to the wind and water conditions. Special for Büsum are two little artificial pond in the middle of the beach, which provide flat water all the time.
In the girls decision Sabrina Lutz from Hamburg will fight for her fourth title. She seems to be in good shape. Next to the wins at the KTE and the German nationals she was very successful at some Wakeboard-Contest.
The Course Racing ranking is led by Florian Gruber. Florian is from the south of Germany and one of the best Course Racer worldwide. With his young age we are sure that he will become more and more successful from race to race.
After that event the German rider can take a break before we kick off to Scheveningen and our finals in Castelldefels. We will keep you updated about results this weekend.
Good luck to all competitors!! Hope to see you all healthy and fit in the Netherlands!!
