We have been getting a lot of feedback in the buildup to the first round of this seasons KTA Asia Tour that a lot of the locally based riders from Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia were disappointed that due to their work demands and lack of holiday time available to them that they could not join the competition over on Bintan from the 20 – 24th February.
So we have come up with a cunning plan and decided to add a special Weekend Warriors Fun Race.
This will as an additional sub-class within the TT Race Class to give more local riders the chance to to join for the weekend and get the full KTA experience. Special Weekend Warrior Fun Race registration sessions will be set up at the Agro Hotel, the competitions host location, on the Friday evening and Saturday morning to give everyone the max chance to get in on the action.
Registration is US$ 50 to race for the weekend which get riders the full event rider’s registration bag and competition lycra, special weekend rates and other rider discounts at the Agro hotel, free entry to the Mid-Event and Awards Party, plus some nice prizes for those riders tat end up at the top of the Weekend Warrior pack.
This is an onsite registration only, so no need to register online, but you do need to book your hotel space at either the Agro Resort or its sister Hotel the Cabanna.
You can do this direct with the Agro Beach for either hotel – http://www.agrobeach.com/ just remember to tell them you are taking part in the KTA to get the special event room rate.
So all you riders from Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia come and join at the first KTA event ever in your part of the region, there will be great competition, a bunch of cool parties and a whole pile of good kiting folk from far and wide to meet and hang out with.
See you there !
