The Expression Disciplines currently include Freestyle, Big Air, Wave Riding, Strapless Freestyle and Park. Competition is judged on difficulty and execution rather than "first past the post".
World Sailing, IKA and GKA have agreed to share the responsibilities for the Expression Disciplines with the Open World Titles awarded through professional tours.

In addition to Sanya the Hainan KTA Race Center would like to introduce and welcome its newest Race Trainer Li Jin Guan (AKA Aguan) who will be getting you up and running out of one of the island’s newest kiting locations King Bay in Boao which sits on the East Coast between Sanya and Haikou.
This is one stunning location with protected flat water areas and good wind conditions so idea for getting out on a race board and cruising. So if you are taking on the island from its northern and arriving by air or seas via Haikou then you now have a close at hand location to head for.
Together Boao and Sanya will give everybody a great opportunity to take advantage of what a KTA Race Center has to offer. It’s a fantastic collaboration between two of China’s top riders and we look forward to seeing them coaching some top new riders into the KTA race scene over the coming seasons.
